Unju Sim was born and raised in Seoul, Korea and now lives and works outside of Washington D.C. Her paintings explore time and perception and her kinetic experiences within. Through color and composition, she attempts to convey the subtleties that change over time the landscape of our mind that is incomplete and ever-changing. She received a BFA from the Massachusetts College of Art and later attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, now part of Tufts University, Boston, MA, for a Post-Baccalaureate program. Unju has been participating in exhibitions throughout New England.
